  • How long before applying for Citizenship?

Hello people! Here is my inquiry: My wife got her Green Card through me. I am a US Citizen. We have a son together. My question is... does she still have to wait 5 years from her permanent residence date to apply for Citizenship? Or can she apply after 3 years?

    Thank you.

If she is still married to you and has spent 18 months physically present in the USA since she became a resident and if she has been a resident for at least 3 years (minus 90 days) then she can file for a GC now.
