I legally adopted my granddaughter when she was 13 but she is a Mexican citizen who only has a laser visa to go into the US. She has been living with me since the adoption and has no legal status to reside in the US. I'll be taking my citizen exam in 2 months and worried if I get asked about her. How do I answer the question pertaining to my adopted daughter living with me if she has no legal status to reside in the US? Is this a problem for me?
