I had my interview on October in 2007. My interviewer told me that I passed the test, and she handed me a piece of paper saying that I passed the test. She told me that I could take the oath the same day if I didn't want to change my name. But I actually need to change my name, so she told me that the oath notice will come in the mail within three weeks. But it has been five months already and I have not receive any notice for the oath. I have actually gone there and asked the information desk. But they told me it usually takes six months. Some of my friends have taken the test in November last year and they already did their oath last month. What should i do? Can anybody help me?

Sometimes it might take more time for the name changes depeding on the processing center.
But this what I'd do if I were you,
- Call 1-800 # and find about your case status
- If it's beyond 90 days, they're suppose to suggest you to get an infopass to meet an Officer in your area field office (because this what they told me when my case got delayed )
