I filed the N-400 on May 30th, 2007 - had my FP done on July 18th, 2007 - finally got my interview today (April 23rd, 2008). The interviewing Officer was very nice and friendly. He asked me a few questions on my background, my travels, my willingness to take the oath, and 10 History/Civics questions. I got all the answers right, and he joked that I knew more about American history and civics than most Americans. At this point he asked me if I was available to take the oath on May 9th, and I replied positively. He then handed me a Form N-445 with the place, date and time on it and explained that I should fill out the questions on the back on the day of the oath ceremony, before I got there. He then got up, shook my hand and said "Congratulations, and it was a pleasure meeting you." I did not get the Form N-652 as I expected from reading many of the Forum postings and the Naturalization Process section.
I am certainly not complaining, but has the process changed vis-a-vis the Form N-652 and getting the N-445 in the mail, or was my case somehow different?
