My wife and I went for the inteview at SF. The interview went smooth, however I am confused with the decision.
On my N-652, it says:
[X] You Passed tests of English and US History and Government
[X] USCIS will send you a written decision about your application
A)[X] Congratulations! Your application has been recommended for approval.
The officer congratulated me, and asked me to bring my GC to the oath ceremony. He also put in a note on my file to try to schedule my wife's and my oath ceremony together (very nice of them!).
My wife's N652 however is same, except that she does not have a check on the "USCIS will send you a written decision about your application" box.
In theory all sounded and looked great, but now this difference is worrying me a little. Since I have the 'Congratulations..' box checked, I am assuming all is well and I should expect the oath letter. However, the 'USCIS will send you a written decision about your application' is what I do not understand. Any ideas?
The board has been really helpful all the way so far, and I'd appreciate any thoughts from the gurus or from someone in the same boat.
