  • Timeframe to get citizenship

I looked at the citizenship tracker and noticed that a number of applications have been approved (interview/oath) in around 6 months time. But somewhere else I remember reading that currently it is taking about 15 months to get citizenship.

Can someone please tell me as to which timeframe is correct?

    Thanks...

Well, I believe it should not take more than a year. In my case it almost took 11 months because of fee hike back in july 2007 the processing time has been changed. It may take upto 15 months to get the citizenship under normal case.

its going to take 4 months 2 days and 1 hr and 12 min..

In absence of definitive timeline to gauge the processing rate, I am following the trend on the tracker....

It helps to follow your respective service center...
