  • Important Info After Interview - Please Help!

    Hello everyone,

Is there anyone on this forum from TAMPA DO?

I had been to the interview today morning at 7:30 AM. I was called in at about 7:40 by a stern looking officer who did not make any small talk but was polite. asa we got in to his room he asked for my Passport, GC and drivers licence. he checked my application against the 3 documents and returned them to me. while checking he asked me a few questions and the made me sign on 2 photos, last page of my application, and also a white single sheet of paper which had my A #, address, tel, etc. he asked me 6 civics questions which I answered correct. then he asked me to write a sentence " my car color is green".

After that he put a large stamp on the last page of my application. In the end he said "you are approved and will get your oath letter by mail soon"

He walked me out to the door and said have a good day.

My problem is - he did not give any paper citing his decision. I believe he is supposed to give me N-652. am I right? was I supposed to ask for it? I asked the person at the Information Desk. from the the answer he gave me I thought he did'nt know what he was talking.

can some please help me? do I have to take INFOPASS and go back to USCIS to find out?

    Thank in advance.

Are we allowed to take families to the Naturalization Oath Ceremony? My Parents are visiting us and would like to attend.

      Thanx in advance.

Yes, in majority of the cases except when you have a ceremony in the courthouse the answer is "NO". For further assurance call the facility where the ceremony will be held at and ask them directly. Remember to leave your cell phone in your car.
