Citizenship Interview-cancelled/Postponed

Hi,
I had my citizen ship interview scheduled along with my wife on July 22'nd. But just 2 to 3 days prior to that, I got a Phone call from local USCIS office saying that they did not recieve my file and the interview date has to be postponed. On the next day I recieved a letter from INS saying that due to unforseen circumstances my interview date has to be cancelled and they would let me know my next date. My Wife cleared the Interview.
Has anyone had similar experience? How long is the wait in these cases?
Any response is appreciated.

When I had my interview they told me that they did not have my file.. but they did not cancel my interview...

Citizenship Interview-cancelled/Postponed

I am in the same boat...My wife and myself had the interview date in june and my wife received a letter week before interview date has been postponed due to the same reason which you have. She have not received yet so far...I called couple of times, they said there is no issue with the case and we have to wait atleast 60 days....I am wating one more week and will call them again...
