I am going to apply for citizenship but the problem is that once i had gotten travell document in past 5 years..but i didnt stay more than 5 month in my hometown..will this thing give me any difficulty in the process.

not a problem, as long as you didn't spend any trip outside the US more than 6 months. since you have re-entry permit in posession, you will need to provide proof to the officer at the interview that you didn't need to use that permit and you didn't spend any trip more than 6 months. your passport with arrival and departure stamps are the best proof
