  • Immihelp - Please help, Very urgent

After 16th months of wait since my N-400 application, at last I received the date for citizenship interview and passed that w/o any troubles. Then I got a re-finger printing notice, appeared to that and now I have received a notice/form for oath next week. I thought my ordeal of immigration process was almost over.
With the oath pending next week, today I have received an out of state ticket for speeding with the fine set at $160. At the time of oath, I am required to complete oath form/notice answering all of it questions under oath. One of the questions that this oath notice/form has is:
“After the date you were first interviewed on you application for naturalization form N-400
Have you been arrested, cited, charged, indicted, convicted, fined, or imprisoned for breaking or violating any law or ordinance, including traffic violation?” “Yes/No”
I guess, I am supposed to answer “yes” to this question and be ready to answer any further questionings. Should I settle this citation before the oath and answer in “YES” or settle it later and answers “NO” in this oath form? Do I have any other options? What’s going to happen at oath if I answer in “yes” to this question? What should I actually do? Please help!
    Regards

        Answer Yes,
but take a copy of the ticket and proof you paid the ticket to the OATH CEREMONY.

say YES, and just take a copy of your ticket and paid receipt to the ceremony incase they ask for it.

Don't worry, traffic violations are not any problem for citizenship. as long as that traffic violation is not for drunk driving or some other serious traffic violations.
