I am Green Crad holder(not married to the US citizen). I came to the USA on September 2006. I had been living in the USA for uninterrupted 18 months. After that I left the USA for 5 months and now I came back.I am planning to leave the USA again next summer for 1 year or more. I will be marrying in my native country. I know I have to get Re-entry permit to come back. Of course the bad thing is all the time which Iwas living in the USA will not be counted for naturalization after I come back in 1 or 2 years. Unfortunately I do not qualify for N-470 Application. I really do not want to lose the green card and I really
want to become US citizen.
Could you please give me a good advice?
