  • Interview date not received yet

    Hi All,

I had submitted the application for ctznship in July and my notice date is July 15th,08. I got fingerprinted on 12th of August but have not received any interview dates yet. My notice said that my interview date will be give in 90 days. What if my mail was sent but failed to be delivered to my address? How do i find out if any interview date letter was sent to me? Does it show on the 'check case status online'? What can I do if i do not receive that in 90 days as the notice said?

    Thanks.

Call the USCIS @1-800-375-5283 to check whether they have already mailed you the Interview notice.

I did call that number. But the status that it gives (an automated) is same to that i see online. Am I going to the wrong option?

        City and Center

There should be an option to talk with a representative. (But not sure what option...). What city and center you have applied?

I applied to the Vermont Service Center. The city would be Alexandria, VA.

          Thanks.

            Make an appointment

Make an appointment through USCIS at the local office. They will let you know if a letter was sent or not.

It is my opinion it is a little too early for you to be worried. It usually takes more than 90 days since you are fingerprinted.

                  Local office

Go to the USCIS website and find out which is your local filed office which handles your N-400 application. Take the appointment for that office and proceed.
