Can we prepone or postpone interview

I have my interview on 28th. But i have a situation - i have to go to India right now. If i attend the interview on 28th and then oath, US passport and Indian visa takes many days or months.

Can anyone suggest something

What USCIS Distric Office are you @
if in NJ, you will get or may get it same day (interview and Oath)

If you buy your ticket, You can apply for same day passport. Now i dont know about Indian visa.

If you want to post pone, go to info Pass and visit your Local USCIS office.

I know unforseen circumstances can hinder plans....but do what you gotta do.

unless it's very emergency. don't try to change your interview date, because it's very hard to get next interview date, sometimes it takes several months to get your next interview date.

once you get your citizenship certificate. you can get the US passport in one day, then you can apply for Indian visa in person and they will give you an Indian visa in same day.
