N400 interview results

I had my interview for U.S. citizenship (N400) 2 weeks ago. Everything went great, I answered all the questions correct, there were no issues. and then the officer gave me form N652 and told me that I passed the english & history test and that the USCIS will send me a written decision via mail. On the N-652 form the 2 things that were checked were 1) "you passed the tests of english and us history and government". 2) "USCIS will send you a written decision about your application". Now i am so confused, I dont know if there is an issue or not and I feel bad that I didnt ask the officer whats the reason the N652 didnt have "Congratulations..." checked.
Did anyone have similar expirience? should I be worried?

which state or district was your interview?

most probably this is due to FBI name check clearance, they must have not had that clearance yet, so they put the file in pending decision.

in this case, sometimes it take very long could be several months, but I would keep checking with USCIS like every month ro so to check status.

I've been checking my mailbox everyday since then...

checked my mailbox this morning and the oath letter was there. i am the happiest person in the world!

N-400 Name Check

I had my N-400 Interview on Aug 11,2008. Everything went well. after interview,They said we will send decision by mail. after a month I sent inquire and they replied back said “ your application is under NAME CHECK”. Ever since I got no response for USCIS. any idea how long i have to wait oath.
