I received my GC in Jan 2004. I'm about to file N-400 90 days in advance . My wife is Canadian (I'm not) and since I became an LPR I have made about 130 short weekend trips to Canada. Altogether I have been abroad for about 16 months but never longer than 3 weeks and almost all trips were just 3 days long.
Can those frequent trips be a potential problem in establishing my continuous residence? I'm not a canadian resident and go there under the visitor status. I live and work in the US, I own an apartment here, I filed an I-130 petition for my wife over 2 years ago. Common sense tells me there shouldn't be a problem but I'm not sure.
Thanks,
LGR
