Crucial Question

I AM A GREEN CARD HOLDER FOR PAST FOUR YEARS, AT THAT TIME MY WIFE WAS ALSO A GREEN CARD HOLDER, LATER SHE GOT HER CITIZENSHIP.

NOW I WANT TO APPLY FOR CITIZENSHIP, I READ THAT I CAN APPLY FOR CITIZENSHIP 90 DAYS BEFORE I MEET 3 YEARS PHYSICAL PRESENCE REQUIREMENT.

" MY WIFE WILL HAVE A 3 YEARS CITIZEN ANNIVERSARY IN JANUARY."


MY QUESTION IS THAT CAN I APPLY FOR CITIZENSHIP NOW OR SHOULD I WAIT TILL JANUARY?

"Because they talk about physical presence of 3 years but in my case my spouse has not been a citizen for 3 years yet (still 3 months shy), i am really confused about this."

If I was "knowledgeable" I would not have bothered to even read your post.

Poor grammar and typing make certain things very HARD to read and when you are reading 100 posts each day, trying to help people it is easy to skip those who ignore these rules.

You have to be married to USC for 3 years before u can apply........
That's what USCIS website says:
Generally, certain lawful permanent residents married to a U.S. citizen may file for naturalization after residing continuously in the United States for three years if immediately preceding the filing of the application:
the applicant has been married to and living in a valid marital union with the same U.S. citizen spouse for all three years;
the U.S. spouse has been a citizen for all three years and meets all physical presence and residence requirements; and
the applicant meets all other naturalization requirements.
