Interview in New York

I live in Queens New York city. I had finger printing done in June, 08 (five months ago). A friend of mine who lives in Staten Island, New York City applied one month after me, but got interview already. But I am still waiting!

I thought interviews come on the basis of priority date. Can anyone explain the anamoly ? Pl share your experiences of interview dates in NY city.

they dont schedule on basis of priorty date.check citizenship tracker for NYC and VSC on this website and u will get an idea yourself.NYC takes about 1.5 months even after your name check clears .You can call to check status but some times even that doesn't help.
