I had my interview for citizenship on Oct 28th. They have held my file since my full name was noted different way but the same name in the green card and H4 files. It seems that they could not find my H4 file before the interview and they found it during the interview. The interviewer said that it will just need the file to be sent to them and then I will get my oath ceremony letter. Its been two weeks and I didnt' get it. I live in DC and had filed for H4, Greencard and citizenship applications from there. Could anybody help me know about how long it could take. I have important plans that I will need to go to India. I also need to know about what to do if I get the oath ceremony letter when I am out of town.
