Citizenship interview question

I have an citizenship interview next month. Three days after the interview we were planning to take a cruise to Mexico. Is it legal to take the cruise after our interview before taking oath.

Don't get it.

You're a legal permanent resident at the moment. Until you take the oath, you'll remain so. After the oath you'll become an United States citizen.

Either way, you're a free bird to go to any listed country as required.
