US Citizenship for minor children born abroad

Apparently N400 does not apply since the applicant has to be at least 18 years of age.
I am in the process of becoming a US citizen;From my research it seems that I need to wait to complete my naturalization process before I can apply for my minor child.
Has somebody gone through this process;Any information is highly appreciated

I am also having same issue. My children born in India, they got Green Card along with me. I think we have to file N600 form for children and N400 is for parents.
