Hi

First of all I would like to thank you becaouse every time when I asked you something your response was very profesional and very prompt! This time I have another problem and I hope that you can help me: Yesterday, I had an interview regarding my N-400 Naturalization application.I passed the history and English testand all the question that he ask me but at the end I got a paper where they ask me to mail them prove that I support my daughter in Romania,but the thing is this: -my daughter is not living here and she was never here in USA, she is in Romania -I divorced my daughter's father and I have full custody over my daughter and what is most importand is that the Romanian Court decision says that my ex-husband is the one who had to pay me every month the allimoney for the child support

NOW, my question for you is this: is correct what the Immigration officer is ask me to prove???

I think that as long as is no a Court decision regarding my allimoney I don't have to prove to anybody if I send money or not in Romania and now much money I send .... of course that I sent money to my daughter in Romnia but I used WESTERN UNION all the time and I dind't save all that resets becouse I didn't know that I gone need to prove this Now, I have 30 days to send this prove otherwise my file will be rejected.. I was thinking to send a copy of Romanian court decision regarding my ex-husband duty to pay tha allemoney but I'm afraid that the officer will disregard the paper and he will deny my application for N-400 please give me an advice what I have to do !!!!

Well, even if your husband sends child support alimony, that is most likely just the partial payment for the expenses related to your daughter. You still need to provide the proof that you send money to her. Only you can come up with the best proof regarding this.
