I'm applying for N400-US citizenship. I have been a Permanent Resident since June 2002.
I am worried that some long trips outside of the US that I have taken may cause issues. Of a total of 7 trips in the last 5 years, I have taken two trips that have lasted over 6 months. Most recently, i just returned from a 10 month trip last week. (Note: total over 5 years does not exceed 30 months)
1. Is this going to pose a problem for my citizenship application? What can I do to avoid any issues?
2. Also does this mean I have to wait 3 months before applying according to the Naturalization Eligibility worksheet (step 6) since I just returned from a trip outside of US?
Any guidance/advice provided will be much appreciated.
