  • N-400 sent back. Re-application questions

Through my own stupidity I posted dated the check I sent to the USCIS on my original N400 application i.e. instead on 01/02/09 I wrote 02/01/09 and they sent back my application.

I want to re-apply and send my documents tomorrow but I'm not sure if I can just send in the same stuff (this time with the correct date on the check) or if I need to re-print and get new certified copies (I have a misdemeanor record) for the re-application. The reason I ask is because there is some printed stuff from the INS (for tracking purposes I assume) on the right border of all the pages I sent. I hope I can just send in the same as I don't want to delay it any further. Also, should I send it to the new lockbox or just fedex it back to the same service center? Thanks in advance for all your help and assistance.

    Thanks.

Called USCIS CS this morning. They asked me to re-submit the original documents with the correct check. Also in my action of notice form, it requested me to resubmit my applicaiton to the new TX lockbox.

Thanx dxbdays. I could not find any post other than yours, with almost the same problem I have. I had sent my application on 2/5/11 and got a confirmation by USPS that it was delivered on 2/7/11. Hopefully, I should hear from them soon. I was wondering what was going to happen until I saw your post. So, thanks once again.
