arrest with no charges filed

Hello,
I wish to apply for us citizenship. A while back I was arrested for domestic violence-assault. No charges were filed. I have no criminal record. Will this effect me getting a citizenship? Thanks for your answer.

I would ask you to get a advise from good lawyer you will need it.

You need to submit the arrest paperwork and dismisal paperwork with your application because if you don't it would show up as a "hit" when you go for the fingerprints. If it was dismissed, then there should be no effect on the application.
