US citizen born in India

What documents do i need for a US citizen(father being US Citizen) born in India for travelling to US? I am ineligible for an Indian citizenship. That's why getting Indian passport for my baby is impossible. Please help. What should i do now?

You need to visit the nearest US consulate and report the birth. They will give you appropriate paperwork to travel to the US.

Thanks so much for your reply. Yes, i did that and i do have US passport for my baby. But my question is what should i do when my baby leaves India as he being born here in India?
