This is just so let every one know my experience so far in the process of citizenship. I was never aware of walk-in or make up day is there for Fingerprinting (Arlington,Va), I did what was I received as a letter for fingerprinting and followed the instructions politly (requesting rescheduling). But I could have just walked in on any wednesday's or saturday's if I couldn't able to go on the specified date (No prior appointment or whatesover is needed, just walk in). Make sure though you carry your copy of the received fingerprinting letter.
My scheduled fingerprinting was on Dec 4th 2008, I did walkin/makeup day of Feb 25th 2009, No questions were asked and just got it done, If I could have known this earlier I could have got it done pretty earlier.
