Am I Eligible for OCI or PIO?
Hi All,
I and my spource became recently US citizen. We both were indian citizen before i.e. born and bought up in india.
My 2 question(s) are :
(1) From my study i understand that I & my spouse are eligible for OCI (which is one form of dual citizen ship ) which indian consitution gives (which has certain restriction). Please let me know if my understanding is wrong.
(2) I have 3 kids, who all were born in usa, and are us citizens. So my questions is are they eligible for OCI as well OR they are only eligible to PIO. Why I am asking this question is the time when they all were born, I and my spouse were indian citizen. Its just that now when we are going to apply for them either PIO or OCI, we are US citizens.

If there is already a thread OR link for this please point me into it I will be happy to dig in and fetch the answer.
