Hello All,
I am resident since 10/28/2004, so I will finish my 5 years on green card in October this year. I keep hearing from lot of people that I can apply 6 months in advance for citizenship but could not find any documenation supporting this! So, could you please tell me when I am eligible to apply for citizenship? I know definitely after 5 years but if I want to apply before 5 years what is the time frame? I read somewhere that I can apply 90 days prior that is I can apply is July 2009 right? Can I apply next month (May) itself? I maintained continuous residency and everything and please give me some feedback when exactly can I apply for citizenship before 5 years period. Thanks in advance.
