Hi All,
I got a notice that "due to unforeseen circumstances" my previously scheduled appt is canceled , and "sorry for any inconvenience it may have caused" . "any further action including a reschedule appt will be sent in another notice". This is with the Philly field office.
Prior to this notice, I got one to confirm my file is completely reviewed and I am to take my usa born child's birth certificate with me to my interview. This was a month ago.
1. Has any one ever rec'd such a generic notice from USCIS? and if so, how did it get resolved?
The letter is so generic I am confused and anxious about this "descheduling".
I appreciate any response to my inquiry.
Thanks
S.
Update. Just in case anyone receives the unnerving "deschedule" notice-
After speaking to Customer Service and writing a letter for information regarding my appt, I rec'd a new appt date without any explanation as to the reason for the initial descheduling.
