Applying for citizenship

I came to US just 3.5 years back How do I answer question 7 a which says how many days u were outside US in last 5 years

If you've only been in the U.S. as a resident for 3 1/2 years, then I presume that you are applying as a spouse of a US citizen, because normally you'd have to wait five years to apply.

If you are a spouse of a US citizen, then you only have to list the times you were outside the U.S. for the past three years.
