Citizenship requirement

I have been married to a US Citizen for 4 years and my permanent residency was approved in sept 20, 2008. I am not sure of the rules now but am I eligible for applying for US Citizenship. If not,how long do i have to wait.

If you are married to a US Citizen, you should have spent 3 years as permanent resident to apply for your citizenship.
