No Notice of Action yet - More than a month now

I submitted my N-400 last May 2009 and it's been more than a month now and i have not received any notice of action yet and my check hasn't been cashed yet. Also, when I submitted my N-400, I forgot to attach a photocopy of my GC but then I sent them a photocopy with a cover letter as soon as I realized that I forgot to include it in my application. I called the uscis customer service to follow up on my case but when she checked, my case isn't even in their system yet; she instructed me to wait for 2-3 more weeks and call them again which I did, and it's still status quo. Has anything like this happen to anybody? what should I do now?

If i were you, i would book an appointment through info pass to speak to someone at your local field district. More than a month is a lot of time given that others receive the NOA's on average in 2 weeks!!
