  • My cictizenship interview today

after waiting for a long long time ..I am here to tell everyone about my experience .
to make the story short,I came to the US in 1996 ,got married to a us citizen in 2001 ,got my 1st green card in 2002 and I applied for the 10 years green card in 2004 ...no response since then ,it has been pending for 5 years ,can u believe it???!!!..my lawyer told me to apply for the N400 ,so I did in feb 2008 .
my interview was yesterday july 07th at 8 :30 am .
I arrived at the uscis at 8 am and waited for my lawyer to show up ,then we went up stairs and waited to be called ,around 9 am the IO called my name,we went to his office and he ask me to raise my hand and swear to tell the truth .he was a super nice guy ,he had a nice smile in his face during the whole interview ,he asked me the questions on the N400 application, then after that he asked 6 questions ( history and gov ),he also asked me to write a simple english phrase and read another one ...and that was it .
he then gave me my pictures to sign and handed me my oath letter for next tuesday .
good luck to you all waiting for your interview .

I got my citizenship few weeks ago, and now I'm in the process of applying for Family based Green Card for my brother who is doing his Masters here in USA, and therefore trying to get information on that.

        Regards
        M
