Year since passed interview, still no response

My parents appeared for citizenship interview on July 16 2008. They passed the interview and asked for police clearance certificate which we mailed it very next day. I believe the next step is oath ceremony. It's been more then year now and we have not heard anything. We took infopass appointment for 3 times so far and all they tell us is our case is under review.

We have asked help from our local senator office as well but they have not done much either.

It is very frustrating to not hear any thing about our case. Is there anything can be done about it?
