Basically, I'm filling out my N-400 and am worried about part D. Good Moral Character.
I was never arrested in my life. I was given quite a few citation for various different things such as
-parking (many times)
-speeding (many times)
-running redlight (few times)
-drinking in public under age 21
-operating motor vehicle after consuming alcohol under 21
-hit-and-run (I ran off the road and hit a tree and then I walked home without calling the cops about the accident; apparently that's still a hit-and-run).
The last two charges were dropped in court. Many of the speeding tickets and other driving violations were taken care of by my lawyers.
I think it's absurd for them to demand that applicants put every single violation that they've had in the past.
Now, I've asked around and everyone tells me that they are not worried about minor stuff like speeding and such and tells me to just not write it in.
But what about the latter two charges? Even though they were dropped by the judge, should I still disclose it? or will it not matter since all they are really worried about are serious violations that qualify as felonies?
thanks in advance
