I married a US citizen back in the early 90's and got my GC back in early 99.
I just had it renewed after 10 yrs and decided to get my citizenship sorted out since I have more time this year.
Anyway I got done with my biometrics and have an interview in a few weeks.
1. Do i need to take my wife along for the interview? She is currently overseas.
No this is not a marriage of convenience as we have been married for a long time and plan to stay married. Some persian guy told me that I have to actually "Produce" her at the interview to prove that she is still alive. I fid this ridiculous and hard to believe that they would ask for this. Is there any truth to this or is he yanking my chain? I plan to carry a copy of my marriage cert just in case.
2. I have never worked while in the US. Is this a problem?
Do they go into work history at the interview?
Thanks
