I became an american resident in july 2002.
i was permanently living there until april 2005.
since then, i have been travelling back and forth to my home country spending most of the year there. however, i make sure to re-enter the u.s every 4 months at the most. however my stays in the u.s usually last about 2 weeks each. I do pay taxes each year and declare self employment as well as foreign income.
how do i go about appying for citizenship?
can i meet the phisycal presence requirement?
what do i need to do to become a citizen if i dont meet the requirements?
also, i have the opportunity to be hired by an american company with offices in venezuela and if hired they would send me to work there and i would be out of the u.s most of time while also travelling back a and forth. Can i take this job and somehow become elegible for citizenship at some point?
