I filled the form out electronically, easy to save a copy for future. Also reader of your application won't make mistakes too(manual or electronically)

The USCIS will get the tax documents from IRS, they are not required(I did not send mine).
I only set the application form, two photos, copy of GC,Check for 675.
No need to send birth certificate or tax documents. Keep the application process simple.
Also, mine was a straight forward 5 year employment based GC to Citizenship application. Your situation may be different and required document could be different too.

            Change of name

            Hi,

What are the procedures to change name? My daughter is born in US. We are green card holders. We are going to apply for citizenship. We would like to change our names. How can I change my daughter's name?

You can change your name by doing the two steps.
              1. If you hold another Country's passport( since you have a GC), goto that country's consulate or any other means and get a passport with new name. Then change your information at the social security office.
              2. Click the box that asks if you want to change your name and then provide the proof that you have changed your name.

If you have to change your daughter's name who is a US citizen, you must get a court order to do that.

              Good luck
