Hello,

I am applying for my parents GC. Do I need to file I-130 and once the visa number is available then fill out the other forms which are i-693, i-485. i-131. etc ? or do i have to file all at once.

GC for parent

You can file concurrent (all the forms together) or you can file I -130. Its a personal preference in my view. I filed my mothers I130 non-concurrent as I needed to get her in the system, then work on the other forms and fees.

You are welcome . Yes each form has detailed instructions on :how to file, costs, eligiblity, where to file, ect. Download the instuctions pages for each file, read through the instructions - may help if u highlight the parts that will apply to u for easy reference.
