I have a friend who came to the united states Legally when he was 6. They applied for citizenship when he was around the same age, 6, and is now 23.
His brother was granted citizenship as was his mother; however he was denied with immigration stating that he is too old. Is there something here that can be done? I am sure there are records of them coming into the United States, as well as school records, and possibly records of them filing for citizenship.
What are the options for my friend (really a friend of a friend but I'm doing what I can to help)? If there are any threads that someone believes would be particularly helpful then that would be awesome as well.
I apologize about not searching the archives first, but I will do so after I post this. I just wanted to get this thread posted incase someone has useful information that I can relay to my buddy soon.
