questions about the interview

hi all..
i have a question regarding the interview..i was going thru all the cases in this site..
i read one case that got me thinking..its was that the officer told the applicant that he/she has to stay more in the states i forgot the details of the case..but eventually told him to wait for the decision to be mailed...

but am concerned coz i took 6 trips out of the country during my 5 yrs ..the longest was 5 months..:S :S to visit my husband .. the total # of months for me out of the country is 18 months (554 days) ..
will that b a problem?

and another question:do they go thru all the application pages and ask questions?or maybe just 1st few pages.???
plz whoever had the interview plz share..

I think the answer to the first question is EACH trip should not exceed 6 months. Based on my experience they do not review and ask questions on all pages of application. Only certain pages such as personal information and the last couple of pages with Yes/No questions

plus i know that one should stay 30 months in the country minimum (in the 5 yrs) before applying for the citizenship..
