Minor Child Naturalization

I, my husband and daughter became permanent residentes at the same time. Next year we can apply for citizenship but my daughter is only 13 years old. Do I have to become a citzen first in order to apply for my daughter or can I apply for her at the same time as I apply for me and my husband?

If the child is less than 18 years old at the time you become citizen, she automatically becomes US citizen.

If the child needs further evidence of citizenship, you may submit an "Application for Certificate of Citizenship" (Form N-600) to USCIS to obtain a Certificate of Citizenship.
