  • Un due delay for my n - 400 application process @ nebrakska service center

    I am really confused:
22 months have passed from my date of application
18 Months have passed from my finger prints and I have passed citizen ship test
contacted 2 to 3 times USCIS at Lincoln, NE Service center, every time they say it is still UNDER PENDING REVIEW
Contacted Local USCIS office at Cincinnati, OHIO they say it is been sent to BACK GROUND CHECK, and they are not giving me a correct reply.

My CONGRESSMAN office also contacted them , they also got a cold response from USCIS, any one is in the same situation, in puts and suggestions are most welcome..

    Thanks

wow...Is it for real ?, if so, so sorry to hear your case. I dont think anybody in this forum have that kind of experience. Im so surprised to see that INS doesnt give out information even when a congress office asks them.
Did you check with FBI if your FP is passed?,

I am in a very strange situation..

        Hi,
        Hope this helps,

I know a few in the past who have had some what similar problem. The USCIS even after been contacted by congressmen and state representatives have given wrong/false information.
Some of them had to then hire an attorney and the attorney files an motion to get information, for 80% of the cases it got resolved in 180 days max and they got citizenship.

Thus the best option for you would be to hire someone
