  • Travel after interview and befor Oath

I was Interviewed in Nov 2008 . The interview went well , passed the test. Officer informed that background check was not complete and i would be informed about a decision by mail.

I got the oath letter after a year now in Nov 2009. I have travelled two times in between this year. One trip was for 90 days and other was for 20 days.

Will this craete any issue at the Oath ceremony. As on the N445 form it asks about travel.

I would say no issues with the Oath Ceremony. You were traveling as a Permanent Resident with a valid passport from your current nationality.

you should be fine, they will give you a short list of questions which you should only answer and sign at the place where you are appearing for your oath, one of them will ask you about travel, as long as you have your passport with you and have not been out of the country for more than 6 months you should be ok. I had a similar experience and they just noted it on the questioner i signed and checked my passport for travel dates before swearing the oath .
