  • Questions on N-400 Form...Please help

I am filling N-400 form and I have couple of questions....any help would be highly appreciated...

    1) How many times has your current spouse has been married (including annulled marriages)?

This is the only marriage for myself and my wife....are they asking about prior marriages? should I enter 0 or 1....please help

    2) I read in Immihelp.com that we should not leave any columns as blanks and should either fill "N/A" or "None"...is this applicable for all the columns or only selected ones...for example Part 1 and Question C "If you have ever used other names, provide them below"....should we enter "None" in all the three rows?

Part 1 and Question D " Would you like to legally change your name" and if we say "NO", should we still proceed and enter "N/A" for the columns that were provided for name change.

    thank you in advance....

    N400 questions

When i was filling my N400 i filled 1 for the many times i was married.(Rem. i am just like you currently married for the first time) but when i went for the interview the officer asked me the same question and i saw him put a zero on that question. So i think you can put zero beside that question or 1 then the officer can change it during interview.
I wanted the name change and i filled that part but if you are not changing your name just say no then N/A on the spaces.
I found that for minor changes like those the officer can change them as he/she is interviewing you. Its pretty much relaxed kind of interview for most part. So do not worry you will be fine.
    Good luck.
