  • Naturalisation application

I shall be qualify for applying for naturalization, in few weeks.

I have obtained greencard based on marriage and few months ago I have sucsessfully remove condition on my green card and got green card for 10 years.Marriage is still continue and we both live together.

    (1) To apply for citizenship , do I need provide documents like I provided for removal of condition? What are main documents needed to support application.

    (2) As I have marriage based greencard, do we need to appear for interview together i.e. joint interview or it will be my lone interview?

(3)Since I become a permanent resident I was outside of the United States for more than 6 months (or more) twice.First time I remain out of US for 11 months and second time I stayed out of US for 8 months.
Since last 3 years I am in US(not out side US for more than 6 months).Does this will have any adverse effect on my case?

(4)While checking document list needed, I found that USCIS asks to bring "An original IRS 1722 letter, listing tax information for the past 5 years". Can you tell me what is that ?

I have filed joint return with my wife for 2005 and 2006 for zero income(because I was out of US most of time) and still to file return for 2007, 2008 and 2009.

    (5) Can I go out of US while my application is pending with USCIS for naturalisation?
Also what other document are needed as per your openion?

    Thank you
