Hi,

There is a paragraph in N-400 Documents Checklist:
"If you have a dependent spouse or children who do not live with you, send:
Any court or government order to provide financial support; and evidence of your financial support (including evidence that you have complied with any court or government order), such as... etc."

What if my wife and children live abroad waiting for my naturalization to apply for them? I, of course, support them sending money via my bank account...

Do I need any documents in this case?

Can it be statement from my account and letter from my wife that I support her and kids?

I don't think you have to provide any prove, since you are not order by government to provide the financial support. I think its for people who are told by court to provide for their kids.
