    Hi

    For the name change during the Oath ceremony , If anybody got the copy of court certificate.

    What is the procedure to get court certificate copy for name change.

    From the forums , I understand we will get name change copy during the oath ceremony. Is it wright.

    Appreciate your reply ASAP.

    There is no procedure as long you opted to change your name in your N-400 application and you accepted to do so during your interview. They will just issue you the court doc. showing that your name have changed from so to so. Also the naturalization cert. will bear your new name.

      Thank you. Will they give name change document during the oath ceremony or to get from later date.

      08/03/2009 - App Sent to Lewisville, Texas
      08/05/2009 - NOA received 08/07/2009 – Checks cashed
      08/14/2009 - FP notice received
      08/24/2009 - FP Done in Philadelphia PA
      09/02/2009 - IL for 11/23
      11/23/2009 - Interview Philadelphia PA
      xx/xx/2009 - Oath ceremony invitation received
      xx/xx/2009 - Oath Ceremony at ????????
      xx/xx/2009 - Passport and Passport card applied
      xx/xx/2009 - Passport Received
      xx/xx/2009 - Got back Naturalization certificate
      xx/xx/2009 - Passport Card Received

        During my Oath ceremony, it was so crowded (1200 people), one could not do anything like name change etc...So, I don't know if name change during Oath ceremony is possible. You can give it a try.
