  • Name Change

My wife just received her oath ceremony schedule letter (N-445) and the name on the oath letter is wrong. On her N-400 application, she indicated that she wanted to change her middle and last name (we have the copy of the form) but the oath letter only shows correct last name (middle name is incorrect).

Her interview appears to be in US District Court in Irving, Tx. Should we take dreading info pass appointment to get this fixed or take our chance at the Oath ceremony and ask someone there to fix it?? I don't want to jeopardize her Oath ceremony appointment. Please advise. Thank you!

I had my oath ceremony at Dallas District court on 12/10 coz i had name change too. I think they can fix it at oath ceremony because that is where the name change was effected( i mean by the court). Just point it out to the IO at the ceremony first thing when you get there.
    This is just my opinion.
