getting passport in San Fran same day u apply??

is it true that when u r done with your oath and ready to apply for the passport...u can apply for it in San Francisco and get it in the same day??like if u apply in the morning u can take it in the afternoon..

I got my passport recently. During that process I found out that the expedited passport is also taking around 2 weeks. I did the regular process and it took me almost 4 weeks.

coz if u go to San Francisco Passport Agency online u can see that there is special processing for those who want it within 2 weeks max...like if u want to travel after 2 days u contact a special 1877 # and they can process it quickly..
coz i heard that u can go there..with ur ticket and passport application in the morning and have it in the afternoon..u tell them ur taveling tomrw or after 2 days for example.. !
i dont know how much this is true though !

My Oath was in San Francisco. Oath ceremony starts at 145pm, ends at 330pm. You can apply for the passport there itself if you have already filled up the form along with check etc...But you will not get your passport the same day.
For normal process, it takes around 2-4weeks. For express process, it takes around 1week to receive the passport.

so u think the expedited passports only take 1 week ? not more?? lol
i know the express ones(expedited) take 10-14 days..
